Be Selfish

Posted on Thursday, April 24, 2008 in Journal Entry, Money, Thought Process

A great statement that I believe more people should live by. Hahaha, No I do not mean in the self centered and careless absence of thoughtfulness for others. I have seen and been around too many people in my life that are not selfish for them selfs. The situation really is that if you are not selfish for your self you will harm others in some way. So true for the opposite side of the coin, too selfish and self centered you will also harm others. How many parents have used their kids for reasons of not achieving more. How many consumers have settled for a life of mediocrity than that of exceeding abundance. Imagine how freely Adam Smiths “invisible hand” could move with the fruits of hard work and effective work of so many that are in America and the world. It is the “selfish desires” of other individuals that fuel this American Consumption economy. Commerce, The highest form of economy. “Buyers and sellers in the market are motivated purely by self-interest but they serve the general interest with out having intended it.” – D. D. Raphael. A large majority of individuals make decisions to not provide for their own self-interest, in-turn effecting the “natural” way of things. Thats all I got for tonight…

The Big Easy Raleigh NC

The Big Easy in Raleigh NC.

A horrible choice for a meal or good times! Food is average, definitely not authentic Cajun! The worst part is the Poor Customer Service! From the time you get seated the process of continual let down begins. When I complained to the owner/manager as I left she said “Sorry BUDDIE” I would Put The Big Easy on The Worst Restaurants and Bar list for Raleigh NC.

The Big Easy is located on 222 Fayetteville St Raleigh, NC 27601

Are you driven to be an A List Client?!

Posted on Sunday, February 24, 2008 in Future, Goals, Journal Entry, Thought Process

I went down to see my CPA in Gastonia NC while I was on business sales calls in Charlotte. And learned a lot of things. 1st is how much money in taxes I’m gonna be paying this year. WHOA! There are way too many taxes! I am really really starting to like the sound of flat Tax! Any Hoo. My CPA said to me in conversation (and I don’t say this to brag…plus he’s not a CPA with TONS of clients, or HUGE clients) “with well managed income and revenue like this you could be one of my best A List Clients pretty soon”. Now I must say I loved to hear that and was very flattered. (Cheers to his effective sales skills.) However the more I thought about his statement over the weekend I realized that that’s exactly what I want to be for tons of individuals, business, and vendors. I love the quote “a rising tide raises all ships” I don’t know who said it but I like it. A List clients are enablers. They enable people and business to grow. Wether being an A List client provides income, revenue, success stories, experience, referrals, or networking A List Clients help in every way. And being and knowing you are some one else’s A List Client is a great feeling. More so its a feeling of commitment and responsibility. Cause you know that you are an impact client for that persons business, livelihood, and family. Also for my life’s goals and ambitions being an A List Client to as many people as possible will provide the avenue to achieve my dreams. And one of my goals is to provide opportunity for a lot of other people. Kind of a self fulfilling deal… Well thats the impact thought for the weekend. Hope you find my understanding helpful.

Do “Crazy Shit” and Get Paid!

Posted on Sunday, February 3, 2008 in Journal Entry, Thought Process

As I watch “Factory Girl” a movie’s who’s cover has intrigued me since the first time I saw it on the rack at BlockBuster.A friend had it in there dvd collection and it was a must borrow. Its funny. It really is. I pick out of the film. First off being mad rich. Thats where it kinda picks up with this rich girl and Andy Worhaul. They just live their life’s and do what ever they want. Which is totally foreign and different to all those who arn’t in their network. However to their network its no big deal.OOHH…just got to the part where the family puts the lock down to the kids. Its funny how rich kids will do what ever their parents say or want them to do because of Money. They will not and can not think of doing anything agenst their parents will because of fear of being cut out of the ca$h flow.Thats one area that us middle class and poor folks don’t worry about. Money of our parents isnt an issue. Cause THEY DONT HAVE ANY!!! SURPRISE SURPRISE. For us I think it matters way less. And maybe thats why such a large percentage of the wealthiest people are first generation?! Point being if you do “crazy shit” and just a few people apreceate it you have the potential of making bank! peace…

Are All Americans Soo Withdrawn From The World?

Posted on Sunday, February 3, 2008 in Journal Entry, Money

After enjoying $100+ meal with some business assoceates and new friend this week end a wild conversation came up. My Assocates wife had been hinting at the fact she wanted a mink coat all night long. So much so it became a joke almost. Well that led to the topic that there is actually a place in Raleigh that Keeps Mink coats during the off season. And the big discussion and concern was ‘Does the mink coat storage have a back up generator in case the power goes out to keep the mink’s at their proper temperature.’ As this may be a very valid concern. It was a bold awakening on how good Americans really have it. And I will say that none of us are in the top 1, 5, or probbably 10% income bracket of the US. Maybe top 10%…I can only imagine the useless conversations and concerns that the top 1% have.  Point being, as Americans, were so rich, and have such a great lifestyle, it’s crazy. Don’t ya think?! Also this happened after having a $1,000 Brake Job on the Lotus.

It’s 4:13 AM and all I can think about is how i can better serve my current and future clientele. What can I do better now and what can I offer in the future to yield a return to clients.

How Easy My Live is Compared to my Grandfathers!

Posted on Saturday, January 12, 2008 in Journal Entry

I think of the hardships of my current situation and past situations in my live and I am hysterically amused with the ease compared to the life of my grandfather. Working in government 3 C’s camp in his teens. And Military service as an only option. My great uncle’s description of a community with no cash flow. Just barter of farm raised goods. It is a concept so foreign to me there is no possible way I can comprehend. wow.

Being Single and Un-Chained Has it’s advantages!

Posted on Tuesday, December 4, 2007 in Journal Entry

I am daily amazed at the amount of Married men and Guys in relationships that are continually interrupted and interfered with on a daily and some times hourly basis by their significant other.  I am impressed with the patience and understanding that my associations have with their significant others. I can see that it would take quite a bit of focus and niceness to deal with all the phone calls they receive. And the length of those calls. And the effort it takes to get off the phone quickly…WOW!

As much as I would be and am eager to have that significant other there for me and supporting, theres no way (at least right now) that I would want to be continually interrupted while I’m doing what I do. I look forward to finding the woman that can be independent and not High-maintenance. My thoughts are: wouldn’t she want me building a life, future, stability that she and her future heirs can enjoy?

Why I Want So Much Money

Posted on Monday, November 26, 2007 in Journal Entry, Thought Process

Honestly?…Because I HATE it so much. I absolutely hate that it dictates so many things in life. At least it did growing up with a single parent. A mom that worked 3 jobs at times. I [explicate Deleted] Hate it! So I have decided to rule over it rather than it ruling over me.
